Today’s featured recipe is Strawberry Lemonade. It’s almost summer and school is almost out so it seems more than appropriate to have a fun fruity smoothie for a healthy mid-day snack or to replace a meal. Plus fresh strawberries are in abundance at my house right now. You can make this with either Vanilla AC Shake or Protein Boost.
AC Shake Recipe:
1 c. strawberries (fresh or frozen)
Juice of 1 lemon
12 oz. water (or to simplify you can use sugar
free lemonade and skip the lemon juice)
Ice (unless you’re using frozen strawberries)
2 scoops Vanilla AC Shake

*Why use lemon pudding mix? It is a great combination for the flavor and texture of the protein boost.
Watch G-Mack Episode 3 to see how he “made” this shake with a little extra help from the ladies.
Chocolate Trail Mix Recipe:
12 oz. water
1/4 c. cashews
2 scoops Chocolate My Victory
1 T. Almond Butterviagra online
/>
1/4 c. oats
1 T. Agave Nectar
pinch of salt
*This recipe is a bit higher in calories and fat because of the nuts however it’s a great meal replacement and is very filling. It also provides extra protein.
It would be very easy to remove the oats and either the cashews or the almond butter and still have a similar tasting shake.
If you have been following along on Facebook or Twitter you have seen all the excitement surrounding the reDESIGN in 90 Weight Loss program & the new Protein boost that accompanies the program! The G-Mack videos have been sharing great My Victory shake recipes and have gotten all of us here in Provo excited to try new recipes and test the limits! With the recent launch of the My Victory Protein Boost we wanted to make sure that the Experience Center staff and Distributor support agents had familiarity with the product.
This last week we wanted to see what our team would do with the protein powder, so we had a blind taste test of their creations. Any of the contestants were give several servings of the new protein boost to take home and experiment with. The only obligation was they had to share their successes!
When the day finally arrived Distributors Support was buzzing with excitement. Our phone agents were excited to see what their coworkers had come up with, while I was a little bit scared to have to taste them all.
Several members of the Distributor Support Management team were elected to be the judges. We were more than shocked when one of our Latin America Agents- Paz Fannin brought cookies instead of a traditional drink.
After carefully sipping, swirling and finally drinking the shake submissions the judges deliberated. While the contestants waited in agony, behind closed doors the quality of each beverage was scrutinized as if it were an episode of Top Chief. We were careful to
take note of: taste, texture, consistency, smell & appearance. No one wants to drink something that smells bad, no matter how good it is for you. It was a tough job and decision but someone had to declare the winner.
After a long drum roll and some eloquent speech and unanimous decision was made. The winner was: Peanut Brittle!
The winning submission came from Heather Christensen from the Provo Experience Center!
A Close Second was the Jamba Juice Remix. Shaken by Jennifer Taylor!
We gave a runner up award to Paz for creativity on her healthy cookie!
The event was a lot of fun and gave us all some new recipes to try on our own! If you try any of our winners we would love to hear how you liked them! Until then, look for more ideas on how to shake up your meals follow our Tiwtter hash tag #nowShaking or check out or recipes here.
I’m starting the reDESIGN Weight Management challenge today. It’s an exciting feeling to know I have tools and program right here for me to make a significant change for my health and overall well-being. Enrolling in the program was easy. I went to redesign90.com and chose the reDESIGN Weight Management as my challenge. It asked some questions to get me started. My goals: lose weight – check, feel better – check, prepare for an athletic event (my wife and I signed up for one of those mud races in June) – check. Now I’m asked if there are any other goals I’d like to achieve, and there is an open ended text box. I’m inclined to write up some quick, whatever comment, but maybe I should think this over. Why am I doing this? One meal a day? Two shakes? Exercise? Is this really worth all the trouble to change? If I start this challenge will I stick with it every day? All great questions and questions I need to answer or I know I won’t see success ever, let alone in 90 days. So I figure I need a WHY. Why am I doing this? Vanity? Prai
se of others? Maybe. But to me, right now, it’s all about my health. I want and need to be healthier for myself and family. So here it goes:
“Why am I entering the reDESIGN Weight Management challenge?”
I want to feel and look healthier in 90 days. I want to be the healthiest person I can be, and managing my weight is a key step in accomplishing this. I want to be a good role model for my family by making healthy choices daily.” – Jason Bell
These are my “WHYS”. They are going to help me stay on the reDESIGN Weight Management challenge every day. In fact, I’m going to post this on my work computer and on our fridge at home.
What is your WHY? To be successful in any of the reDESIGN in 90 challenges, you need a WHY to help keep you focused. Why do you want to use the Galvanic Face or Body Spa? What will getting your BioPhotonic Scanner Score higher mean to you? Your “WHY” is individualized and unique as you are. Share your WHY with other reDESIGN in 90 challenge participants so we all can be inspired.
