Awesome Liquid Body Lufra Trick

So to be completely honest I have no idea how to blog. I may have been mentioned in a few other posts but with that being said this is in fact my very first post.  I decided I needed to put all doubts aside to tell you about one of my favorite products.  I do have quite a few since I guess that is what happens when you work in the Experience Center.

I’m pretty sure I have been using Liquid Body Lufra for about 10 years now.  I completely fell in love with this product from the first time I used it.  It contains ground walnut shells that help exfoliate the skin.  With its spearmint fragrance it is very clean and refreshing if you use it in the shower.  I end up using it 3 or more times a week.

However, the reason I am writing this isn’t to focus on the practical uses.  I wanted to let you in on a little trick I use.  This trick has made this product top on my list of can’t live with outs.

I started using Liquid Body Lufra before I shaved my legs and it helped me to get a much closer shave.  Then I discovered that if I actually used it to shave like a shaving cream that the shave was even better.  For me doing this also helped eliminate the terrible razor burn I would get after.  Now I know wh

at you are thinking, but doesn’t it clog the razor? Nope,  It rinses out very nicely. I don’t take a vacation without it because I know that nothing else will make my skin feel that good after shaving.  I like to follow up with Enhancer for the soothing effect and then Perennial Intense Moisturizer for added moisture.

I also like to massage it into my feet to help take off any dry or cracked skin.  You can then follow that up by applying Epoch Sole Solutions.  In a way it ends up being like a little pedicure. This combination can help get your feet ready for the fast approaching sandal season.

I have also used Liquid Body Lufra when I have been over exposed to the sun and my skin begins to peel.  By not being too aggressive when I use it like this I feel like I am able to speed up what normally would take forever to get my skin back to normal.  The next time I am more cautious and use Sunright SPF 30.

I hope my tricks help you fall in love with this product, or at least gives you a few more ideas of something to do with an already great product.  By the way I snapped the picture of this in my tub but just realized I’m getting very low and will need more soon.

Day in the life: Distributor Support Supervisor

Have you ever visited the corporate headquarters and wondered: What do all of these people do?

In our new series Day in the life we will explore the different departments here in the US Market that help support the field, give you a glimpse of that it is like to work in their position and  a little taste of our corporate culture.

Day in the life: Distributor Support Supervisor

My name is Chase Warnick, and I am a Supervisor for Nu Skin Distributor Support. I have been working for Nu Skin for almost three years, and I absolutely love it.

I work with a team of 11 agents that offer support to our Latin America markets.

Our Distributor Support department is here to help with any commission-specific inquires you may have about your personal account.

We can help explain details about the Sales Compensation Plan and any questions you have regarding your commission payments, bonuses, qualifications, etc.

Rise and shine at 7:00 am every morning. On a typical day I will get up and get ready and be into work by 8:00 am.

Every morning I am sure to use my favorite Nu Skin & Pharmanex products, which are the ageLOC Transformation, ageLOC Vitality, and Lifepak Nano.

These products definitely help me throughout the day.

Here is the map of my daily drive to work. Traffic isn’t bad during the morning, so I can usually get there pretty fast. When I get into work, I will sit down at my desk and prioritize my daily tasks. The work from my desks usually entails: emails and instant messages from members of the department. One of my biggest responsibilities is being available to help my team members with questions, trainings or concerns.

Depending on the day, I will have morning meetings with our management team and members of other departments. This particular morning I went over resumes for applicants applying to our department. With me is Colby Baker, the other Supervisor in our department.<

Today I chose to go to Carl’s Jr. with my brother-in-law Brad, who was recently hired as an engineer at Nu Skin.Each month I will have what we call a 1-on-1 with each of my team members. This particular 1-on-1 is with Sara. As a department, we have certain standards that we want each agent to meet.

So in these meetings we will go over her performance for the previous month, check her current stats, and set goals. This is also a time when I can answer questions and help with any concerns.Sometimes there will be situations in which a person requests to speak with a supervisor. I will do my best to listen and resolve the issue.

If I have to do follow up or investigate more, I will do so and then contact the distributor with the answer or latest update.To make sure that we are giving the best customer service possible, I will monitor a certain number of calls for each agent each month.

This allows me to see how my team is doing on calls and allows me to see if there are changes that need to be made.Come 5:00 pm it is time to head home after another successful, fun day at Nu Skin. I really enjoy working in the Distributor Support Department. Before my position as a supervisor I worked for several years as a phone agent taking US and Latin America phone calls. It is a really fun department to work in because of our close connection to our distributors in the field. In DS we are also given the opportunity to work with our distributors in face to face interactions- giving tours at events, helping at the Experience Center, attending kick off meetings and helping at reward trips.

This is one of my “go-to” shakes.  I never get sick of the chocolate peanut butter combo.  In the winter I make it hot and in the summer I add ice.  So delicious!

Plans for the Better: The Kate Oh Story

 For Nu Skin distributor Kate Oh and her husband Daniel Oh things didn’t exactly go according to plan.

 The plan: Work hard in school to become a dentist and a pharmacist, respectively.

 Reality: A loss of a job for Daniel and the exciting news of a baby on the way.

 “Our plans and thoughts for the future were slowly getting further away,” Kate said.

 Enter Nu Skin and the 2011 Kickoff Meetings in Southern California.

 “My husband first saw the Nu Skin vision and asked me what I thought about doing the Nu Skin business together,” Kate added. “I knew that Nu Skin was a great business, but I was always shy and thought this business wasn’t right for me, so I initially refused.”

 Kate’s refusal to participate in the business at first didn’t deter Daniel from continuing to try to build a Nu Skin business. Daniel su

ggested that he and Kate travel to Utah, visit Nu Skin’s corporate headquarters, and participate in some of the trainings from a monthly fly-in.

 “I was able to see the lifestyles of successful people and I wanted that in my own life,” Kate added.

 Shortly after returning from the fly-in Kate decided to join Daniel in building a Nu Skin business and she devoted her time to making their business successful—attending Korean meetings in Los Angeles and setting goals with her sales support for achieving each pin title.

 “Kate has worked extremely hard,” Korean Sales Manager David Jenkins said. “She set a goal to reach Ruby and hit that goal. And with that, she’ll now be attending the June Success Trip.”

 For Kate, setting a goal and concentrating on achieving that goal helps mere words become reality and can turn seemingly foiled plans into real success.

 “When my dreams come true, there can be hope to make other people’s dreams come true,” she added. “Helping others achieve their dreams is why I will continue to work hard and spread the word of the Nu Skin business.”

The Success Formula: Dream with Maureen Fiorot

For Nu Skin distributor Maureen Fiorot, merely having a dream isn’t enough—one must focus on that dream each day until it is no longer a dream, but reality.

“I visualize and vocalize my dream every day so that I can see and hear the outcome and believe that it will become a reality,” Maureen added. “And Nu Skin is the vehicle that is helping me bring those dreams into reality.”

A distributor with Nu Skin since 2009, Marueen has seen her dreams begin to turn into reality lately as she has seen a significant increase in all aspects of her business.

Tasty Tuesday – Strawberry Lemonade Smoothie

Today’s featured recipe is Strawberry Lemonade. It’s almost summer and school is almost out so it seems more than appropriate to have a fun fruity smoothie for a healthy mid-day snack or to replace a meal.  Plus fresh strawberries are in abundance at my house right now.  You can make this with either Vanilla AC Shake or Protein Boost.

AC Shake Recipe:
1 c. strawberries (fresh or frozen)
Juice of 1 lemon
12 oz. water (or to simplify you can use sugar

free lemonade and skip the lemon juice)
Ice (unless you’re using frozen strawberries)
2 scoops Vanilla AC Shake

Hello Pinterest!

Nu Skin North America is making history today with the launch into the Pinterest world. After establishing ourselves on Facebook and Twitter today we progress and expand into a new world. Breaching the Pinterest realm is an exciting change here at Nu Skin NA!

Pinterest is unlike most other social media sites. It isn’t a place where you can post a status or tweet a friend, but rather create a dream board for your life. Pinterest is made up entirely of pictures; pictures of food, quotes, good looking men and women, and sweet places around the world. In case you didn’t know.  Pinterest is frequented mostly by women between the ages of 25-34, but don’t let that turn you away it is still a new site and is growing daily. With so much time spent on Pinterest users are comfortable finding what they want and more willing to purchase.

The Hydration Sensation

In the fall of 2008 I moved to Provo, UT transferring schools from the University of Massachusetts. As a native from New England I was horribly unprepared for the dry desert climate of Utah.

I didn’t realize I would own a stick of Nu Skin Sunright Lip Balm for every pair of pants and shorts I owned. Occasionally I would leave it at home with bloody chapped lips as a consequence. A horrific illustration, but you should understand that if my lips were that bad, imagine the rest of me.

Desperate measures needed to be taken and to protect myself from this new found environment. A miracle happened and thanks to my ability to speak French I was graciously hired on by Nu Skin as a French speaking Sales Support rep. I loved speaking to Distributors everyday and felt lifted by them even while I thought I was there to help lift them.

Once I started working for Nu Skin I immediately began an intense regiment of hydrating products to help keep some moisture in me. I now marginally understand when girls tell me they love a product because I cannot go without the Nu Skin Sunright Lip Balm, Dividends Aftershave Balm, and my Enhancer Skin Conditioning Gel.  Even once I moved to the humid island of Oahu in Hawaii I still continued to use these three products because I loved them so much.
